Wadia had a great show at AKFest 09! We teamed up with Dynaudio, Octave and Ultralink/XLO for two of the best sounding rooms at the show. Having an Audio Festival in Wadia’s backyard is such a blessing and we hope that we were able to show people the possibilities available in Performance Audio today!
In one room we showed the 781i CD/SACD Player along with Octave Tube Amplification, Dynaudio Confidence C1 Speakers and XLO Reference Cables. All of the equipment was isolated on Stillpoints racks and the sound that was achieved was incredible for a relatively small hotel room.
In the second room, we showed off the new 381i CD Player with a prototype 24/96 USB input. The supporting cast was a Octave Tube Integrated Amp, several Dynaudio options for speakers and cables by Argentum. The 381 CD Player has the ability to play MP3, WMA and FLAC discs and with the addition of the USB input, we were able to demonstrate many ways to listen music to show goers.
Both rooms also had 170iTransports that several Festival Attendees got a chance to listen their own iPods on some pretty serious equipment. We really enjoyed the opportunity to get in front of many people with the common goal of better audio. We look forward to another productive year and seeing everyone at AKFest again in 2010.
