A small revolution...
The iTransport
is the first ever component specifically designed to transform your iPod
into a high-resolution audio/video media server. The iTransport combines
the convenience of personal audio with the performance and connectivity of
your home audio/video system, delivering bit-perfect digital audio signal
via a coaxial S/PDIF output, DVD quality video via component outputs, and
built on a sleek aluminum chassis.
When the iPod
docks with iTransport, the iPod transforms into an audiophile-grade media
server that rivals some of the top performing digital source components
available. The iTransport is available directly from Wadia, or you can
experience the iTransport for yourself at a
Wadia dealer near
you.
Performance
and connectivity inspired Wadia engineers to take the iPod to the next level
in digital audio design. With bit perfect S/PDIF output, high-resolution
DVD quality component video outputs, and an external power supply, the
iTransport represents the perfect balance of performance, convenience, and
value. The iTransport also comes with an IR remote, coaxial digital cable,
iPod adapter inserts, and user manual.
 |
Please Note: Current
generation iPod products provide full user menu and click wheel function
when docked. These product also allow simultaneous digital audio output.
iPod nano 1st generation and iPod 5th generation
(video) lack this same ability. These products allow digital output, but do
not provide full user menu and click wheel function while docked. Please see
user manual for operating
instructions. |
Please Note: The Video
Outputs on the 170iTransport act as a high performance pass-thru from the
iPod. At this time the iPod does not output its Graphical User
Interface Menu. This means that you will not be able to see iPod
menu's on your television monitor.
